PATHOLOGICAL CONSIDERATIONS:
An acute infectious process characterized by symptoms of systemic infection, lymphadenophy, excessive abnormal lympathocytes in circulating blood and by the presence of a heterophil agglutinin in the blood. Etiology is medically unknown.

PHYSIOLOGICAL CONSIDERATIONS:
Rare in warm climates and exhibiting frequent remissions and exacerbations, this condition presents a hemogram showing great numbers of atypical lymphocyted, moderate increase in WBC to about 15,000 and usually no red cell changes or anemia, but there may be splenomegaly.

TREATMENT:
Raw foods in the diet and elimination of all processed, chemicalized foods is the most important factor in treating these conditions. Intensive use of concentrated natural food concentrates is also vital to recovery and prevention of exacerbations. Bed rest should be instituted during the acute phase then gradual return to active expenditure of energy based on personal tolerance.
