SUGGESTED NUTRITION:
Chewable Co-Enzyme Q10 #K853
2 per day. Increases the main parameters of measurement for heart efficiency, cardiac output and stroke volume, significantly.

Cardiotrate #2000
3-6 per day. Raw heart concentrate promotes growth and repair of cardiac tissue giving strength to heart muscle fibers.

E-400 Sesame #984
2-4 per day. Vitamin E is absolutely essential for normal heart action and should be administered in massive doses up to 3,000-4,000 units daily during acute attacks with a maintenance amount of 800-1200 units daily. Vitamin E is an anti-oxidant conserving oxygen supply to the heart muscle and all other body tissues. Vitamin prevents the oxidation of LDL within the mitochondria of the heart muscle cells which leads to atherosclerosis.

PATHOLOGICAL CONSIDERATIONS:
America's most lethal disease accounting for more than 50% of all deaths, heart disease, aside from congenital abnormalities, may be considered a nutritional deficiency disease. Heart disease may be classified according to the type of involvement in each case. Four basic areas of distinction may be noted: circulatory, where the blood supply to the heart muscle is stopped or diminished as in coronary insufficiency or occlusion; (2) muscular, where the contractility of the cardiac muscle is weakened through hypertrophy as seen in congestive heart failure; (3) nervous, where nerve pathways of conductivity are disturbed affecting the rate and rhythm of heart action as in arrhythmias, fibrillation and heart block; and (4) certain extrinsic factors affecting heart function as in kidney and liver disease, hypertension, and atherosclerosis.

PHYSIOLOGICAL CONSIDERATIONS:
The ever-increasing consumption of refined foods, especially white flour and hydrogenated fats, coupled with intense stress are the predominant elements in cardiac disease. Before commercial refinement of wheat into flour there were practically no recorded cases of heart disease as we know it today. The famous Dr. Paul Dudley White has stated that he had observed an increase in heart disease to parallel the use of white flour in the western world.

TREATMENT:
Drugs have no place in treatment of heart disease except as an emergency measure in the early stages of an acute attack, Their therapeutic value is very questionable. As we considered heart disease to be examples of nutritional deficiencies, we advocate specific Nutritional Therapy in every case. Diet should consist of fresh fruit and vegetables with about 60% or more in the raw state, natural whole milk, fresh organically-produced fertile eggs, lean meats and unrefined whole cereal grains, seeds and nuts - none of which produce an increase in serum cholesterol in the body. White sugar and white flour in any food or drink are absolutely forbidden as are hydrogenated fats and oils and chemicalized, processed and packaged foods of the supermarkets. Specific therapeutic use of natural concentrated supplements, vitamins and mineral constitute the most effective form of treatment known today.
