PATHOLOGICAL CONSIDERATIONS:
This is a form of depressive neurosis in which the patient suffers an affective dejection and is unhappy, self-depreciative, pessimistic and possibly suicidal.

PHYSIOLOGICAL CONSIDERATIONS:
The basis for mental, emotional and spiritual development cannot be maintained without physical health and well- being and this requires sound nutrition. A wide range of psycho-neurotic disorders is included under the heading of mental depression and anxiety. Mental depression is usually the result of prolonged malnutrition, or deficiency of a specific nutrient or combination of nutrients.

TREATMENT:
The most important factor in treating this condition is to re-establish optimum nutrition and this is only done through eliminating all processed, chemicalized foods and restoring a natural well-balanced diet with emphasis on as much raw food as possible. Hypoglycemia must be strongly considered in all these cases and occasionally it is seen with hypocalcemia complicating. Vigorous use of natural concentrated food supplements is mandatory, especially in the early stages. Massive vitamin therapy is very effective in all psycho-neurotic stages.
